The work was done by highly-regarded The Shoehealer in the UK.Essex is a remarkable full vegetable tanned leather from Horween Leather in Chicago, Illinois. Essex is drum tanned using the same natural extracts from tree bark that is used to tan Horween's world renowned Shell Cordovan. Rancourt & Co. developed this collection using aniline finish and full grain hides for one purpose, to age and develop a beautiful patina. The John last is pretty much a standard fitting last.
