Description: Great gift for that Riverfest collector friend or relative. Wichita Festivals Inc. only issued ornaments in 1996, 1997 and 1998. This 1998 ornament has a design very similar to the 1996 Silver Anniversary button. The ornament has a 3D effect in that the blue, green and gold stars are offset about 1/4" above the red star and the gold circles. The ornaments appear to be quite difficult to fabricate and originally sold for $25. I believe the ornaments never met sales expectancies and profitability and were discontinued in 1998 for these reasons. This ornament is approximately 3" in diameter. It is new in the box and has an attached red ribbon for hanging. The pictures do not give the ornament justice. Free local pickup is available.
