Description: "Poems of Inspiration" contains poems collected by Montrose L Barnet. It was published in 1911 (1st edition) by the Acmegraph Co, Chicago. It is a small softcover book measuring 4.75x6". 64 pages that show tanning due to age. This is bound with a ribbon that is faded , worn, and discolored. I bet back in the day it was a lovely purple color to match the flowers on the cover image. The paper cover sticks out over the pages of the book so it is bent and is chipping. It has also darkened with age discoloration. The previous owner's name is inside. You can see a dark spot inside the cover that affects the inside of the cover and the title page (front and back). There are a few other dirty/age spots inside. Even though it is just tied together, the book is in really nice antique condition. There are poems by many different poets inside, such as A Lord Tennyson, William Wordsworth, Henry Van Dyke, and many more. A nice antique book of poetry.
