Description: You are bidding on 2 Western Electric type 187C condensers. These are adjustable condensers with taps on one side with specifications of .00012, .0005, .001, .002, and .033 MFD. The idea is to connect the taps you would like to terminal A. So the capacity you would like can be selected. Terminal C completes the circuit and is the same on both ends of the condenser. So these are very versatile condensers. They are identical with the close date code, 11-45 and 1V-46. They are in fairly clean condition with gray paint. Both have the cover, which is normally missing. In size, they measure roughly 1 5/8 by 1 1/2 inches in cross section, and are 2 3/4 inches in length, not counting the terminals,mounting bolts, or cover. They should be great for your project.
