Lovely pair of candlesticks made in the Victorian style, the column is knopped and has a downward flare design, then down to the square stepped foot that has a flared design to each corner, in keeping with the column and the drip trays. Alexander Smith was well known for making Silver Candelabra and candlesticks of quality. These candlesticks are heavy and have never been weighted, as they have good heavy solid silver bases.
