THIS LARGE SIZE KOREAN WAR SERVICE DISPLAY IS FRAMED IN A SOLID BROWN WOOD FRAME WITH A GLASS FRONT AND FEATURES AN U.S. ARMY METAL EAGLE CREST INSIGNIA DEVICE AND U.S. ARMY AIRBORNE JUMP WINGS TO ITS CENTER. OF NOTE: THE PINS FOR THE U.S. ARMY EAGLE CREST AND THE JUMP WINGS WERE REMOVED BEFORE BEING PLACED IN THIS SERVICE DISPLAY. THE BOTTOM OF THE DISPLAY FEATURES THE IMAGES OF WW2 (PACIFIC THEATER) AND KOREAN WAR SERVICE BARS NOTING THAT THIS VETERAN SERVED IN BOTH WW2 AND THE KOREAN WARS. THE PRINT IS DATED FOR 1951 AND NOTES SEVERAL THEATERS WHERE THE SERVICEMAN SERVED IN DURING THE KOREAN WAR. THE DISPLAY IS NAMED TO IT BOTTOM CENTER TO; "DONALD JACKSON, PFC.". OF FURTHER NOTE: PFC. JACKSON SERVED IN THE U.S. ARMY'S 11th AIRBORNE DIVISION DURING WW2, IN OCCUPIED JAPAN AND LATER SERVED IN THE KOREAN WAR. THE DISPLAY'S WOOD FRAME APPROX. MEASURES 19" BY 15" AND THE INTERNAL PRINT APPROX. MEASURES 15-3/4" BY 11-3/4".
