Old Paris Porcelain Shell Form Dishes Hand Painted Gilded 2 PCS

Description: 2 Shell Form Dishes decorated with botanics and gilding This listing is for two 19th-century white porcelain French vessels/bowls known as Vieux Paris that would make a wonderful gift from a bygone era. With a sea cockle shell shape, scallop edges, a raised acanthus leaf design, and hand-painted gold gilt accents. The inside of the shallow vessel was made with undulations within the ceramic design. Old Paris, indeed! I have other matching pieces available as shown in the last photo. This listing is for the two shell form dishes only. Unmarked, but they are companion pieces to the tureens I have also listed, so are attributable to Haviland and Co. Each measures 8.5" by 5". Excellent Condition- no damages, gilding crisp and clear. Every effort is made to disclose condition via photos, please see images and request any additional images you may need. Vintage and Antique items are old and used so they may show wear and/or manufacturers imperfections. These items are sold in as-is condition. Colors may appear slightly different due to the nature of color variation from monitor to monitor. Any white spots on image are reflections from camera flash. Items have often been used for many years and can have normal signs of aging or handling, and gilt can have signs of slight disintegration even if never handled. I will reflect any damages, repairs, obvious stress marks, crazing or heavy wear in the item description but some minor scratches, nicks, stains and gilt disintegration can be normal for vintage items and need to be taken into account.
