Description: For sale is a pair of vintage NOS genuine Campagnolo C-Record rubber brake lever hoods. These are in perfect condition with no discoloration, splits or dry rot. These were taken off a show bike when we did a handlebar tape color change from white to black. Included are the two grommets that fill the space where the brake cable exits the lever if you don't have exposed brake cables. The best way to put these on so as not to rip them is to unbolt the lever and take it off the handlebar. Spray some White Lightning Clean Streak on the inside of the hood cover. Put the back of the lever (the part that touches the handlebar) through the front of the rubber hood and with a slight twist it will pop in. Next stretch the raised section over the raised section on the lever. Let it sit for about a half hour and the clean streak will evaporate leaving the rubber hoods firmly attached. These are made in Italy. No returns or refunds.
