This Elektra gold record is professionally framed and shows some wear from age. There is a small separation of the metal frame in the lower left section as shown in the photos (Sorry for the glare !!!). The exterior measurements are ~ 16" x 20" ... Overall very nice condition that presents well. Gold and platinum awards have always been generously distributed to various parties associated with a given release, from industry execs to radio stations to record distributors. The awards that are most valuable and sought after are the ones presented specifically to the recording artist / group. This one was the Mars Man's ... now it can be yours.
