MINT Vintage early 1980's Univega Superstrada Road Bike RED Shimano Dura-Ace AX

Description: We are selling a near mint condition Univega SuperStrada 12-speed racing bike which is neither molested or modified. As far as we are aware, this is the original factory set-up and it even has the original tires which still hold 100 PSI of air. I'm not sure how much longer they will be usable but from the tread wear it seams that the original owner didn't use this bike very much, like a few rides. The full Shimano Dura-Ace component group looks like it hasn't moved from it's original bike shop set up. This bike has a excellent bright red paint with a few paint chips which we have taken pictures of. All the cabling is correct and tight. The crankset, pedals, gearing, derailler have been oiled and everything turns like a Swiss watch. The bike seat is the original Univega logo bike seat. What is not present are the rubber grips on the handlebards that usually are on the brake caliper stem. This is a minor detail you can sort out if you wish. The handlebar tape appears to be original as well, there is a small inch of tape that is not original. This vintage Univega Superstrada road bike from the early 1980s is a true gem for any cycling enthusiast. With its bright red color and classic design, it's sure to catch the eye of anyone who sees it. The bike features a steel frame with a standover height of 31 inches, and a wheel size of 700C. It also has a unique foot pedal strap brand, Mikashima Black Leather, and a handlebar brand, Nitto. The bike has 12 speeds and a tire pressure of 100 PSI, making it perfect for any terrain. Its crank gear disc sizes are 52 CM and 44 CM, and it comes with a caliper brake - side pull. This racing bike is unisex and has a frame size of 55 cm. It's a great addition to any vintage cycling collection and is sure to provide hours of enjoyment. We would prefer a local free pickup because then you we don't have to dis-assemble it, pack it, ship it and you have to re-assemble it.Since this is a hyper-serious bike, we will most likely take it to our bike shop to break it down and box it if you want it shipped to you.
