Condition: The face is very worn, a number of the clasps are missing, rubbing and wear to the engraved backing and the rope twist edges. Overall good for its age. Wear commensurate with age and use. Notes: A fantastic medieval silver and carnelian cameo pendant. I can't find an exact pendant to compare, but the long hair and face of the cameo, and the engraved decoration to the back are very medieval in style. Together with the wear and rubbing of the cameo and pendant, I think I can safely date this to the medieval period.
