Description: This attractive planter, manufactured by McCoy circa 1950's, has 3 evenly-spaced grooves on the outside where a chain or fiber rope can support it for hanging, and also has 3 feet on the bottom so it can stand alone on a shelf or table. Outside has an embossed pattern of overlapping ivy leaves and vines. Shiny glazed finish is a dark aqua green with cream-colored highlights. McCoy logo is clear on bottom. Measures 6-3/4" at the rim; the feet are spaced 3" apart. In excellent overall condition. Any marks you see in the photos are not chips, but spots and small inconsistencies that occurred during the firing process. There's very light crazing and one faint hairline crack inside (see last photo). There also appears to be dried cement near the interior bottom; I found this at an estate sale and was able to remove some of it when I got it home with just soap and water, but I didn't want to get more aggressive and risk damaging the finish. I think there are products made to accomplish cement removal. Any questions, please ask. Terms & Conditions *Payment is due within 3 days (72 hours) of winning bid/purchase.
