Description: MADONNA - Stage Worn “Girlie Show” sequin shorts One pair of blue sequin shorts worn on stage by Madonna during the “Express Yourself” number on Her “Girlie Show Tour” in 1993. These pieces were obtained from longtime Madonna collector, Ronald McCormack. Who had many connections to people who worked for Madonna. He even did lighting for some of her famous music videos. McCormack also collected personal items of Janis Joplin, Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Prince and Kate Bush. McCormack directly obtained these shorts directly from someone who worked on the tour. As his handwritten tag attached to the short state: “Collected after Australia leg”. These shorts were also displayed at the Hard Rock Cafe in London at one point. NOTE: There are a few holes and tears inside the shorts from constant tour use. Otherwise, very good condition overall. We purchased most of Ron’s Madonna memorabilia in the 1990’s. We will slowly be listing the tour costumes, jewellery and personal possessions over the next few months.
