Description: A beautiful twined cedar basket, by Haida artist Lisa Telford currently represented by Stonington Gallery of Seattle. This basket was purchased from the artist at the Phoenix Heard Museum Indian Market in the late 1990's, and comes with a publicity flyer supplied by the artist at the time of purchase. It has no wear, having been stored on a display cabinet shelf since purchase. Telford is one of the few remaining Haida artists still weaving cedar in the traditional manner. The basket is 7.5" H and 4.25" in diameter.
