Description: Here is an antique French yellow ware Turks Head mold, deeply fluted with particularly nice color, a rich butterscotch with some light splashes of a Rockingham type glaze on the outside. There is small, age appropriate crazing throughout. In the inside of the mold there are a few heavier craze lines in the glaze but they do not go through the mold. There is one old chip, ½ on the rim, outer edge, a few tiny glaze flakes, some wear spots on the bottom where the mold stands. Turning lines are nicely visible on the center post. The number 5 is impressed into the clay. This is a pretty mold to display. Measures 9½ “ in diameter and 4" tall.
