Description: This beautiful amber glass compote/candy dish is a vintage piece from L.E. Smith, featuring their signature Moon and Stars pattern. The round dish has one compartment and sits on a pedestal base, with a perfecly- fitted (by the outer edge) cover. The base is complete and pretty and useful by itself as well. Please note: in three of the last 4 photos, the presence of a single line - a gentle scratch in the bottom base on the outside of the dish. A finger nail can detect that groove. The bottom circular edge of the cover has a few teeny indentions that can be detected by the fingernail sliding around the smooth inner edge; however, it's very difficult to notice by the eye (see last photo for one of those tiny indention areas).
