Description: Large Antique Framed Hand Colored Photo Birch Trees Landscape Sawyer Type. I looked at this carefully and at first I thought it might be a watercolor painting but I now believe it is an early hand colored format photo similar to Charles Sawyer, Wallace Nutting, David Davidson and other landscape photographers. Seen is a wonderful birch trees path by mountain stream probably northern New England ca. 1910 era. The frame measures 20 1/2" x 23 1/2" that fits 18" x 21" and the artwork alone is about 11" x 14". A very beautiful hand tinted colored photo. The matte has some toning and a very small water mark right edge, otherwise artwork is fine and original frame with glass is solid & sturdy - see detailed pics.
