The tool fits over the bolt shroud and has a steel hook and pin system which engages the cocking piece. The cocking piece is pulled backward by rotating the knob. The bolt shroud and firing pin can then be easily removed from the bolt. *NOTE* This tool is compatible with centerfire calibers only.
