Description: A lovely signed low-numbered and still sealed example from the low-run deluxe slipcased limited edition of undoubtedly one of the biggest book releases of 2021, the long-awaited new novel from multi-award winning British author and writer Sir Kazuo Ishiguro. One of the most important writers of the past 30 years, he won the 1989 Booker Prize for 'The Remains Of The Day ', has been shortlisted for the Booker Prize on a further 3 occasions and in October 2017 was deservedly awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. This book was deservedly announced as one of the books on the 2021 Booker Prize longlist and many critics and reviewers had it in their shortlist selections. 'Klara and The Sun ' published by Faber & Faber, London on 2 March 2021, 1st edition/1st impression, standard modern hardback, [viii] + 307 pages. ** This signed deluxe slipcased limited edition was sold out with the publisher in less than an hour on release day. ** This is a still sealed example, so photos 1 and 2 are of this book in question. Photos 3 onwards are of another copy I have to show some of the external and internal imagery of this lovely limited edition. The book will be flat hand signed by the author in black pen at a special limitation page, bound ahead of the title page. This was a very low run limited edition for an author of Ishiguro's standing, at only 200 copies available for sale (a further 5 lettered copies were reserved for the author). This sealed copy is a very low number, being copy number 19 as per the sticker seal in photo 2. I will also include 2 of the limited edition art prints, 1 of which I purchased from the publishers (each measures 10in x 7in) - the prints have the same design but are on different paper stock - and an exclusive promotional bookmark. ** An excellent quality limited edition which is sure to be highly collectable in this low-run quantity, given Ishiguro's status as a Nobel Prize and a Booker Prize winner ** 'The Sun always has ways to reach us.'
