Josef Kainz Theater Actor from Austria Hungary Antique Cabinet Card

The photographer, William Hoffert, is a very well known German photographer. "Ernst Friedrich Wilhelm Hugo Höffert (25 October 1832 – 8 April 1901) was a German photographer, who ran studios in numerous German cities." Kainz and Hoffert. While looking into this cabinet card, found multiple previous cabinet cards of Hoffert having photographed Kainz. Seems like they had a long association. Many are attributable to certain roles, but I am not sure of the role in this particular cabinet card. I included those photos of the others for reference, but they are of course not included. Cabinet card dimensions are approximately 4.25" x 6.5". Not sure of exact date of photograph. Kainz died in 1910. And Hoffert died in 1901. So probably in the 1890s. But Hoffert did run multiple studios using other photographers. Given that Kainz was a very important figure at the time, I would imagine that Hoffert photographed him personally.
