Several programs are included for fun, example, and/or utility: (1) BELT - calculates either diameter of two pulleys, pulley distance between centers, or belt length around both pulleys from specifications of any three of the four parameters, (2) BIORM - calculates the physical, emotional, and intellectual biocycles, including day-of-week and days-between-dates calculators for something actually useful, (3) EBYPF - for an eBay sales transaction calculates profit, selling price, cost, or postage from inputs of 7 of the 8 parameters: profit, selling price, cost, shipping & handling charge (from the auction), postage (actual paid), insertion fee, tax rate, and bank for payment (USA or foreign), (4) ERTH - calculates the distance to the horizon and the percentage of the earth's surface visible from a specified height above the earth's surface, (5) ERTHD - calculates the distance between any two locations on the earth's surface from specified latitude and longitude coordinates and the direction to begin travel from the first to the second location (see photo 1 for typical output), (6) HTNK - calculates the rigorous volume of fluid in a partially-filled horizontal, cylindrical tank with conical, ellipsoidal, guppy, spherical, or torispherical heads, (7) MPG - calculates a vehicle's MPG at fill-ups, (8) MINE - minehunt game to clear all free squares without hitting one of several random hidden mines, (9) MWT - calculates the molecular weight of any compound and the percentage of each element in the compound, (10) SCORE - keeps a running game score for up to 3 contestants, (11) SHOP - compares the values of two products while shopping and shows the amount saved by purchasing the less-expensive item, and (12) VTNK - calculates the rigorous volume of fluid in a partially-filled vertical, cylindrical tank with a conical, ellipsoidal, spherical, or torispherical bottom. Dozens of additional programs written (not on this calculator) during many years as a research chemist and plant chemist are also included in the calculator.
