I am listing the condition as USED because it comes in the original box, but was previously hung on my wall with added rubber feet on the back. No other signs of wear & tear. This is a RETIRED Spiritile that is hard to find! The list price of current Spiritiles are $199. The idea that when you walk into an unknown situation, you can choose the path of what you know and what you've tried before, or you can stick your neck out there and give the uncertain a whirl. It has always reminded me of this wild west and frontier mentality. Imagine you're a settler in the east, and someone tells you, "Oh, well you can struggle through another cold winter in Pennsylvania with the folks, or you can set out on the rugged terrain to see the beauties of the west. You might die of typhoid fever, but the views are great." We as humans are explorers, not letting the unknown out there hold us back from making it known, whatever may come our way." These Spiritiles are made by hand with USA-sourced copper, glass enamel, and a custom wood box frame out of his studio in Atlanta, GA. Please note that when the copper topped with glass enamel are removed from the kiln, it is then rolled over with a rolling pin to create an effect called crazing.
