HARDINGE VMC-600II CNC Machining center

Description: Selling my Hardinge VMC600 2 series CNC mill. This is a 3 axis CNC mill with a Siemens control. Machine will take RS232 program input for large programs but also has conversational programming though shopmill. I also have a post processor for fusion 360 I can provide. The control is very easy to learn and use. Travels are x=23.6 y=20 and z=20 inches. Spindle is 17.3 horse power 8000 rpm cat 40. This is a heavy duty machining center weight is 9523 pounds, about 1500 pounds more than a comparable HAAS VF1. X and Y axis have 5 trucks per axis and Z has 6 trucks per axis for high rigidity. Spindle uses 4x angular contact bearings vs HAAS's 2. Only selling to make space for a new machine. Machine also comes with a spare spindle that has been freshly rebuilt. machine comes with a lift up chip conveyer. Machine has 4th drive and prewire. Machine has an alarm on the screen for a magazine switch. Alarm is due to us trying to install the 4th axis parameters in the control. There is a mistake on the manufacturer 4th enable parameter list and it creates an innocuous alarm. Alarm can be cleared by reinstalling machine parameters which I do have but did not have time to reinstall before machine was moved to storage at our riggers warehouse. I have been running machine with this alarm for past 6 years and it causes no problems. Machine is located in Carson City NV. Other known issues with this machine, is that infrequently upon start up the z axis will move slightly and causes a NV-synch action error. This alarm is cleared by holding reset for 10 seconds. Machine has had this issue for the 12 years I have owned it. I have all manuals/parts list and can send a data sheet if wanted. This is a good machine and I would be keeping it if I had the room.
