Dies were prepared for the four candidates running for President in 1860 - Democrats John Bell, John Breckinridge, and Stephen Douglas and Republican Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln was able to win due to the split within the Democratic Party. This is a superb specimen of this very rare variety and it is the probable finest known. Two tokens appear in the NGC Census with the highest grade of MS-61. The PCGS Population Report contains one holed token graded MS-64 and two unholed tokens which are both graded MS-63.
