Description: This is a vintage linen postcard, unposted and featuring a woman in a swimsuit with a German Shepherd dog standing beside a tree looking at the Friendship House Restaurant and cottages, which was located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast between Gulfport and Biloxi, Mississippi. Opened in 1949, the restaurant was famous for seafood and big meals. Motto was "Host to the Gulf Coast". In 1963, the original owners sold the restaurant and it eventually closed and the building demolished. Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases and bent corners.
