Description: ***This version of FF3 includes silicon transistors.***Presenting the FF3 PCB, parts, and matched transistors package. This kit includes all of the passive components, PCB, and a set of matched and tested Silicon transistors. Since not everyone builds in the same way, my kits come in three tiers: FF1: Passive components only. FF2: Passives and PCB FF3SI(this listing): Passives, PCB, and matched, tested silicon transistors. FF3 upgrades to NOS Philips capacitors. ***Everything included is shown in the photos. If it isn't shown, it isn't included.*** *These kits can be tailored to your needs whether you want to build a certain version of a Fuzz face or a Tone Bender, or anything else in the "vintage fuzz" arena, just message me.* FF3 PCB, vintage parts, and matched transistors kit includes: -(2) BC108B silicon transistors, matched as a pair and tested for performance. -(1) Replica Issue 1 PCB, phenolic substrate just like the originals. Very cool. -(4) NOS Carbon Composite resistors, one each 470R, 8.2K, 33K, and 100K stock values. -(1) 20k cermet trimmer; use this in place of R3/8.2K resistor for precise bias adjustments. Compensate for changes in climate ort simply use it to find your favorite sound. This device has been preconfigured as a variable resistor and is setup to fit a standard Fuzz Face PCB. -(3) NOS Philips Capacitors, BC electrolytic and "Chiclet" film, same as used in Dallas-Arbiter units, these caps are no longer made and are hard to find. - Wiring Diagram and schematic sent by request as they are widely avilable online. *I have various other common values available for popular mods, and I can even put a custom package together for you including as much or as little as you need. Pots? Jacks? Enclosures? No problem. PFG is happy to help you out. If you wanted to build a Mk. 1.5 Tone Bender instead of a Fuzz face, I have the parts. Vox Distortion Booster, Dallas Rangemaster, etc. I can make a custom package for your dream fuzz pedal.* *Actual components may vary from those pictured, depending on your order. Returns will not be accepted once leads are cut or any soldering has been performed. It is always best to breadboard a circuit before you commit to soldering valuable vintage components. These kits are not all inclusive and they are designed for those with the skills, equipment, and experience to build them.
