This case fits very nicely in a shirt pocket with the top of the case resting about 3/4 of an inch from the top of the pocket when clipped. Be careful of those cases with the clip placed midway down, or in the center of the case, as they don't fit a shirt pocket well, or those with plastic clips that can crack or break. Also be aware of less expensive cases that are made from the lower or split level of the hide, look thick and bulky when folded over, are heavily stitched, and have no lining to protect your lenses. Unless, of course, you are trying for that Jim Bowie look. Usually a case sewn on two sides only is an indicator of not having a sewn in lining for lens protection.
