Description: This appears to be an early Skookum doll that was handmade for the tourist trade likely in the 1930's to early 1940's era. I base that guess on the fabric used for the shirt and the shoes that are made of thin leather or some sort of heavy paper - rather than plastic. The blanket looks like an authentic scrap of a woven wool fabric. The pants are also wool. The face is hand painted. It is 9 1/2 inches tall. The face has some old soil, the hair is rough and there is wear on the toes of the shoes. Ships with USPS Ground Advantage.
