Description: Duesenberg Starplayer Special Silver Sparkle Les Paul / Electric Guitar w/ HC Description Condition: Used We have repaired many Duesenbergs, but when we do a vintage repair of the entire body, it is so much better that it is unrecognizable. The pickups remain the current ones, but the layout has been changed to a simple front, mix, and rear. In addition, considering the sound quality, we have changed to a dual pot so that the front and rear pickups can be fitted with separate capacitors. The top is for the front and the bottom is for the rear. The tone of the two vintage capacitors is much more powerful and improves the sound quality than the usual one, and by attaching a vintage capacitor that matches each pickup with a different sound quality, it brings out the best of each pickup and the half tone becomes exquisite. This is the most popular setting in our assembly. This time, we are using the precious Cornell Tiger PB, 200v (front .01, rear .02). The 200v has a more mature sound quality than the normal 400v, and is a valuable number that is rare and cannot be sold in our store. We also installed a vintage high pass that allows gain control when the volume is turned down. When turned down, the sound quality is natural and solid. The guitar itself is well set up and produces a great sound. It has a transparency that is on another level, and a clean sound with a wide range that cannot be compared to any current guitar. The edgy half and distortion are superbly chewy and full of nuances, and it goes wild. It has plenty of overtones and a mature feel, but it has not lost the modern sound that comes from the body, making it a great guitar. It is a very cool guitar. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a guitar with good sound quality. The truss also rotates and is in good condition. 80 to 90 percent of the frets remain. There are scratches around the neck pocket on the back and scratches that can be felt by touching the neck frets near the neck frets. Please refer to the photos. Otherwise it is a very clean guitar.
