Description: This limited run of the Hand Blown Columbus #10 globe is very unique, because the mould for this globe sat unused for many years, and actually rusted inside. It became so rusty that it pitted the mould, and even though it was thoroughly cleaned, the tiny pits remained. We eventually decided to use the mould, and the result was a slight "texture" to the globe that we feel gives it an "antiqued" look when viewed closely. It even has the faint embossing of the Columbus logo.Because it looks "vintage", we decided to apply an exact replica paper decal of the early 1930s Columbus Model ZM. It even has the expansion cuts like the original to help form on the #10 and other round Columbus globes.
