Each type of piece is valued individually. You can select the quantity that you need of each piece in the box above. You can order as many pieces as you need to complete your set. This is a classic mid-century modern design, created by the famous designer Don Wallance for Lauffer in 1953. Lauffer called this pattern Design 1, and it is also known as Design 21 or Design 2721 by C. Hugo Pott. Both the Lauffer and Pott pieces were made by Pott at the same factory in Germany and are identical except for the markings. Please ignore any lighting challenges in the photos. The main photo shows the following pieces from left to right.... A Tea Spoon measures about 6-1/8" / 155mm long. A Soup Spoon measures about 6-3/8" / 164mm long. A Table Serving Spoon measures about 8-1/8" long. A Salad Serving Spoon measures about 9-1/8" long. A Salad Serving Fork measures about 9-1/8" long. A Dinner Fork measures about 7-1/8" / 183mm long. A Salad or Dessert Fork measures about 6-3/8" / 160mm long. A Dinner or Place Knife measures about 7-7/8" / 200mm long. A Butter Knife measures about 6-1/4" / 160mm long. In addition, I have the following pieces that are not shown in the main photo.... A Cocktail or Seafood Fork measures about 5-3/4" long. A Coffee Spoon measures about 5" long. A Long Iced Tea Spoon measures about 7-3/4" long. A Sugar or Jelly Serving Spoon measures about 5-13/16" long. A Table Serving Fork measures about 8-1/16" long. Like all Wallance designs, this design feels nicely balanced in the hand. It was made with high-quality 18-8 stainless steel. The knives were made with a slightly different composition of stainless steel, therefore, it is common for vintage knives from this era to have some tiny black spots. Each piece is hand-finished and shows very minor variations. There is also some variation in the manufacturer markings on some pieces. If you are trying to match a specific marking, I will do my best to accommodate. These pieces will look great on your table or in your collection.
