Description: Charming Vintage Hand Painted Framed OIL PAINTING, California IRIS, Signed Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE OIL PAINTING Charming and slightly primitive vintage hand painted floral oil painting on canvas measuring about 12" wide by 10" tall -- actual painting is 10" wide by 8" deep. Featuring California Iris and spring flowers in pastel tones, painting is signed SAMSON and dates to the 1950s. Condition is good with a bit of rippling to the canvas from age and how heavily the paint was applied -- the frame is rough with loss of the canvas trim on the wood edge as shown - I think this was seated into a larger frame as well, due to the remaining tiny staple nails on two sides. None of this detracts, but I would (personally) reframe the piece into a prettier setting. Think it is a sweet vintage painting - fun addition to any home, collection or display!
