Description: This is an original vintage c.1940s print of an drypoint etching with artwork by R.H. Palenske that was issued as an advertising premium by the Aztec Brewing Company of San Diego, California. This print is on what feels like a woven paper and titled OVER THE PASS and measures about 7" x 8.75” not including the margin and about 12.5” x 16” including the margins. Included with the print is a sheet of paper issued by the Aztec Brewing Company of San Diego describing the print and the artist R.H. Palenske. This sheet is headed: OVER THE PASS Original Drypoint by R.H. PALENSKE Reproduced in Talio-Chrome This item isn’t dated but is a vintage original dating to the 1940s or 1950s. This print and the form that came with it are vintage originals. The print is in very good condition with just a bit of toning and modest handling wear. The small leaflet that came with the print is creased and rather toned on one corner and otherwise in very good condition. Email any questions. Thanks for looking.
