Ultimatley they were made in ATS-34 even though the paperwork on the early knives still showed BG-42. Some were serialized /2000 and some were serialized /1000. This one is numbered 1106 on the pile side. I have not been able to determine final production numbers or find any information on why the serialization changed several times. I do not have the box or paperwork. Comes with knife and sheath only. I have had the knife since 2008 and it has never been used, carried or sharpened. It does have a few storage marks on the guard and the sheath.
