Description: Bracelet ammonite stretch big focal black beads 8 strandsZZ147In searching for the name of this shell/stone/fossil, Ammonite was the closest I came, although most of those are more spiral in design. If there is another name, please share!! It is 1 3/4 inches across the shell/focal part, highly polished to a shine. The center shows a white spiral with web-like brown and tan designs stretching out from the center. Whatever it is, it has had holes drilled through the outer edge, opposite sides and stretchy cord threaded through, with black 6/0 seed beads looped across the top. The seed beads continue on the underside to become eight strands for a cuff bracelet. It is size 7 BEFORE stretching. The back side of the focal has a shell-like finish, not quite mother-of-pearl. There is a remant of a price sticker on the bottom, so this could have come from an island gift shop somewhere (just a guess). Great condition, soft stretch, but not stretched out.
