Description: This is a lovely oval serving platter. This platter, though unmarked, was manufactured by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries. The body is Colonial shape and the hand painted under glaze decoration is red crab apple fruit, green leaves and red trim. The Crab Apple design was painted on the sides, one or two fruit opposite 3. The oval platter measures 11 3/4" (11.75") x 8 3/4". The bottom of the platter is not marked. It has some red paint streaks under the glaze.
