Ayer & Co., Lowell, Massachusetts Here's a very pretty vintage advertising card featuring a lady with a basket of what appear to be cherries slung over her arm. It says that "AYER'S CHERRY PECTORAL Cures Colds, Coughs, and all Diseases". The back of the card consists of a narrative describing the wondrous curative properties of the product. Size: approx. 4.5" x 2.75" Date: Not dated. Lithographer: Not identified. Condition: Fair, I'd say. While the card is only lightly soiled, it has clearly been trimmed along the bottom edge. The back also has a couple surface tears. (Please see scans.)
