Description: Antique Walnut Microscope Carrying Case With Dovetailed Drawer & Original Lock and Key and Brass Handle. This piece measures 12" high and it is 7" wide and 6 3/4" deep. This piece retains its original lock and key as well as the original brass handle on top. The finish I believe to be original and I cleaned it a bit to remove old dirt and dust and some paint spatters. There is still a bit of evidence of the paint in the grain here and there. This piece also retains its original dovetailed drawer. It appears that there were some other pieces of wood inside but they are gone. You can see the shadows in the photos where these used to be. There were two small nail holes in the top at the center of the handle which I filled. The lock and key do work. If you have any questions please ask. I will combine shipping when possible.
