ANTIQUE OLD PARIS WHITE ROUND HAVILAND Vieux Paris COVERED TUREEN 19th C

Description: Here is the perfect addition to your festive table! An Old Paris covered tureen with fantastic details. The tureen is round shaped on a smaller foot with curved handles and pumpkin finals. Rims are pained with gold. The handles and finials are outlined in gold, making the molded details stand out in relief. Marked H&co in impressed mark, for Haviland and Co. and marked "double gilding" which is why the gilding is so beautifully preserved and not distressed as in many similar pieces. Circa 1877- 1879. I have two of these available. I also have other matching items available as shown in my last photo. This listing is for one round tureen. Excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, stains, etc. (The "lines" in some of the images are reflections from lights in the highly reflective glaze.) This tureen measure approximately 6.5 inches tall, 9 inches wide across handles, by 7.5 inches, and has a depth of 3 inches.
