Description: A superb quality antique bronze sundial, dated 1705 but probably dating from the 19th century. The sundial has engraved decoration with Roman numerals and the motto “sieze the present moment, the evening hour is nigh” it has the makers name above the date which is worn and no longer legible. It measures 25cm in diameter x 15cm high. It is all in good antique condition with a lovely aged patina to the bronze.
