Description: This beautiful Antique Brand bottle of BLACK & White is in almost perfect condition except for two scratches or possible label glue on the Back (see last picture). no attempt made to remove I did not want to cause damage to the bottle , itself.First produced in 1879, initially known as Buchanan's Blend and then the House of Commons (after the British House of Commons). It's nickname , referring to the black and white labeling , was eventually adopted as the official brand instead. The brand's motif (featuring a black Scottish Terrier and a white West Highland White Terrier) was conceived by James Buchanan during the 1890's.
