Plug this unit in, connect to your cable coax (the wire from your cable provider) and it is ready to go. Then open a web browser and go to: http://routerlogin.net or 192.168.0.1 (login: 'admin' password: 'password') - you will then be prompted to change the password ~ and thereafter be granted access to the configuration menu to change the SSID or wi-fi password to one of your choosing (if you prefer to use something different than NETGEAR77 and festivebutter876.
