Description: Offered here is an antique metal pincushion, made of metal for the purpose of being a pin cushion. The shoe is made of pot metal with much tarnish – it was probably bright and shiny when new. The shoe is high cut with shirred fabric around the upper foot and eight eyelets for stringing. The underside of the instep is marked “Knapp”. The pin cushion section is well worn velvet and the stuffing feels to be sawdust and is not leaking.
