What a curiosity !!~ These 21 pieces are handmade fabric dominos using silk satin and black velvet! Most have a tiny sequin in the middle ~ They date from 1900-1920 and almost certainly were made for a costume or theater use ~ The smallest is about 3 inches by 2 inches and the largest is about 9 inches by 5 inches ~ A rare find, never seen anything like these before ~ Last year in Portugal I found an early 1900's festival costume using similar domino appliques!
