These are part of a purchased collection from a clothing store in Virginia that closed decades ago. These clothes, and many others, sat on shelves and on hangers and mannequin from the 1970s until summer of 2023. This denim suit has never been worn and has never been altered. The tag in the three- pocket blazer says Liberty. Aged 100% Cotton. 36M. I believe that's a 36 Medium for a man, so that makes it a small suit. Shoulders measure 17" the length of the blazer is 28". Armpit to armpit is 15 1/2". The pants tag says the waist is 29 inches. These magnificent denim bell bottoms are nearly 13" wide at the bottom. The inseam is 38". The crotch depth is 12" .The pants have denim piping from belt to bottom of the bell bottoms. This would fit or could be altered for a Small to Medium size woman. This suit screams 1973.
