Stan Musial Visits Wilson House Stan "The Man" Musial, Senior Vice President of the St. Louis Cardinals, and his wife, Lil, came to Washington recently to honor the athletic accomplishments of another great ballplayer, Woodrow Wilson. The surprising story of President Wilson, Athlete and Sports Fan is told in a new exhibit, open through June, at Woodrow Wilson House, 2340 S Street, N.W. Unusual items on view include the only baseball autographed by a King (George V of England) and the tennis racquet, golf clubs, and monogrammed knapsack used by President Wilson. Though frail most of his life, Wilson enjoyed many sports, played college baseball, and was called "one of the founders of modern football" for his coaching exploits at Princeton University. Wilson House, Washington's only presidential house-museum is open daily 10 to 4, admission 50 cents for adults, 25 cents for students and military.
