This is an example of the 1968 edition of the U.S. Mint Uncirculated Coin Set. This type of set has been distributed since 1947. This set was acquired by me from another collector several years ago. The set provides an example of each business-strike coin that the minting facilities produced for that year. Of special note, the set contains a 1C coin from the San Francisco Mint, which would continue to strike 1C coins for circulation through 1974. The set also contains an example of the 40% silver Kennedy half which was produced from 1965 thru 1970 at the Denver Mint. The coins will come sealed in two cello blister-pacs.
