Description: Very nice April, 1958 Cherry Red Color Code 53 Wall Telephone by Western Electric. They replaced the ringer in 1966 and put a new cord on it (original cord was fatter). Bench tested, all functions excellent. Plastics are physically very nice in that they have no chips or cracks. The handset has a few tiny dings - nothing to worry you. I installed a new-old-stock mounting plate, just like what the phone company did in the 1970's, so that it's plug-n-play right out of the box. Wall jack not included, but pictured for reference. If your room doesn't have one for this phone to mount to, they are available at all hardware stores. Thanks - Eddie
