Description: GREEN STRIATED Pelikan 400NN fountain pen. The nib is crafted from 14k 585 gold and is a DEF- Hard Extra Fine. These are nibs are characterized by 2 holes on them and their tips are meant to be used for writing on carbon copies, which is why they are very hard and have no flex. The pen is in near mint condition, as you can see on the pictures. There are no cracks anywhere on the pen and the nib collar also isn't cracked. The nib writes well and the pen has received a full service, which included full disassembly, thorough cleaning and lubrication of moving parts with silicone. I have provided a writing sample using Pelikan 4001 blue tint, in order to further describe the writing characteristics of the nib. Please keep in mind that I am a left handed writer.
