Description: $1,512 sale of this actual slab (click the third image). A Die Adjustment Strike (DAS) is a test piece used to analyze the striking pressure of the dies (click the fourth image). We could trace just three DAS steel cents. Extremely rare, unusual, intriguing, and undervalued. DAS's are deliberately made but called errors because they were supposed to have been destroyed immediately after manufacture. NGC does not grade DAS's but our grade is uncirculated. All DAS's have marks because the planchets do not get smoothed by the weak strike. But this specimen is much choicer than average and obviously uncirculated. Unusual, unique oddity sure to be the centerpiece of any Lincoln cent collection. Impress your friends and neighbors, and even your mother-in-law. Again, this actual slab recently sold for $1,512 (click the third image). Member of prestigious CDN Exchange (aka Greysheet aka Coinplex) since 2011 and its third highest bidder in dollar volume.
